A Benidorm judge has ordered the man arrested on suspicion of killing and dismembering his partner at his home in the Alicante town to be held in provisional, communicated and bail‑denied detention.

The measure was decreed this afternoon by the judge in charge of seat number 1 of the Women’s Violence Section of the Benidorm Local Court, according to EFE, elDiario.es and La Vanguardia.

The Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community has reported that the detainee is being investigated for a homicide or murder offence, according to EFE.
