Russian Bombardment Leaves Kiev's North Bridge Closed
Russia bombed Kiev's North Bridge, blocking traffic in both directions and injuring two people, marking the third consecutive day of attacks on the capital's viaducts.
Russia launched a bombardment on Kiev's North Bridge in the last hours, marking the third consecutive day of attacks on the viaducts crossing the Dnieper River in the Ukrainian capital.
Kiev's mayor, Vitali Klitschko, reported on his social media that the attack occurred around 07:00 local time and that damage to the roadway left traffic blocked in both directions. Two people were reported injured and vehicular flow was interrupted after the drone attack. This bombardment adds to last Friday's attack, when a Russian drone hit the South Bridge, making it the fourth drone attack in two days.
